Program Highlights

Play-Based Learning

At the heart of our ABA therapy program lies the emphasis on play-based experiences. For instance, we might use a sandbox activity to teach sharing and turn-taking, or a make-believe grocery store game to introduce concepts of money, counting, and social interactions. This approach not only makes learning fun but also ensures skills are learned in context, mirroring real-life situations.

Early Developmental Skills

Recognizing the importance of early education, our program introduces foundational skills crucial for school readiness. Through interactive games and activities, children learn numbers, the alphabet, days of the week, and colors. For example, a daily sing-along session helps reinforce the days of the week, while a color-matching game with blocks enhances color recognition and fine motor skills.

Environmental Understanding and Safety

Understanding and safely navigating different environments is vital. Our program incorporates outings and simulated public scenarios to teach safety and appropriate behavior in various settings. For example, guided visits to a local park focus on crossing the street safely, while role-playing activities in the classroom might cover how to interact with strangers.

Addressing Maladaptive Behaviors

A cornerstone of our approach is identifying and creating personalized strategies to manage and reduce maladaptive behaviors. Through positive reinforcement and structured interventions, we work on behaviors such as tantrums or non-compliance. For instance, a child who struggles with transitions between activities might be introduced to a visual schedule and taught to use a timer to anticipate changes, reducing stress and improving cooperation

Community Inclusion and Daily Living Skills

Enhancing our clients' ability to participate in community life and perform daily activities is paramount. We might teach a child to order food at a restaurant, emphasizing social skills and money management, or practice getting dressed using doll clothes, thereby improving independence in self-care tasks.
